在巴哈SAE, we are tasked with designing and building a single-seater off-road vehicle from scratch, with most manufacturing done in the SAE garage on campus. During competitions, our vehicle's durability and performance are tested in a wide range of environments and our design decisions are graded by technical judges. The business aspects of our build are also judged in competitions. 例如, we are given a hypothetical scenario of a manufacturer creating this vehicle as a one-off prototype that would be mass-produced. This requires us to consider cost reduction, scalability and marketing. 表面上看, it might look like a club for mechanical engineers, but 巴哈SAE welcomes students from all majors.
